| As I sat in Hastings today focused on getting my internet to work so I
could check my email, I notice a girl in a wheelchair having a hard
time ordering her medium mocha. The guy with her told her she was going
to spend all her money if she got one and may not have enough but she
wanted a mocha and that's what she was having... This girl is about my
age and my heart just started to tug..."What should I do for this girl,
Lord buy her drink?" I just sat here listening to the conversation she
was 20 cents short... the cashier said she would cover it but the man
with her insisted that he had it... As he dug in his pockets I without
hesistation grabbed my wallet and pulled a quarter out and throw it on
the counter... all the heads turned to me and the girl looked up at me
with the biggest grin she could make and said 'thank you' it's amazing
how giving some one a quarter can make your day!
If only
everyone in this world could do the smallest of favors for people
rather than tearing everyone down, maybe things like the V-Tech
shooting wouldn't have happened.
Look around and see what small thing you could be doing to improve someones life.
If someone listens,
or strectches out a hand,
or whispers a kind word of encouragement,
or attempts to understand a lonely person,
extraordinary things begin to happen.

| Well I don't have much to write even thought a lot has gone on... I have been down and out and so I don't want to be all sappy and make all of you feel like you need to write "i love you Rachel" messages. FCA camp is this weekend and I am really looking forward to it. it's going to be the largest Camp in FCA history... It's Roger Cooper's last camp :( but it will incredible!!! Not to mention my old friend and Newest Kansas City Chief Jon McGraw will be there!!! So I'm off to pack and to be touched by this weekend!!! God will move mountains in that place!!! | | |
| So I have been watching Ugly Betty and think it's great!!! I just got caught up and can't wait to watch the next episode!!!!

| I was going down to Emporia with my friend Rachel, to another friend Emily's birthday party. When we got to Eskridge, ks there is an itersection where hwy 99 and K-4 meet. there is a 3-way stop and K-4 does not stop... I was on hwy 99 and did not see the stop sign and t-boned a dodge ram at 30 mph. No one was injuried badly... I eventually went to the ER in Manhattan after i realized I had hit my head on the drivers side window. and was told I had a mild concussion. I've had a difficult time spending long periods of time at the computer and is why it has taken me a while to tell the story. there are more pics ond facebook and myspace but I had difficulty uploading them up here. Still don't know what the damage really is and if it's totaled... waiting to here praying she's not totaled!!!
